Jazz BandCongratulations to the Soundwave as they just received an Overall I- in Region 5 Competition held at Roy HS on 19 March 2008. The band played standard jazz charts with a little twist - Cute, Send in the Clowns and C Jam Blues (a la Mambo). The audience left with their feet tapping!!!! The group ranked out as the 3rd highest scoring group of the night. Upcoming Jazz events: May Concert and Jazz Chamber Show. Dates and times will be posted within the week.
